Puhakka sets the best KZ time at Sarno

Simo Puhakka (Kosmic / Vortex) took pole in KZ – 55”748 – in the final moments of the qualifying session for the European Championship at Sarno by improving on the time of Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM ). Patrik Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex) confirmed the Kosmic form in 3rd position, while Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) finished 4th by 74 mils. There was a good 5th position for Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) ahead of Jérémy Iglesias (Formula K / TM). Douglas Lundberg (Sodi / TM) was 7th, Stan Pex (CRG / TM) 8th, Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM) 9th and Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) completed the top 10. Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) bravely tried to participate in Qualifying, but he had to give up after a mechanical problem as did Luca Corberi (Tony Kart / Vortex).
