Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart / Vortex) kept the lead at the start of Prefinal A ahead of Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) and Zak O’Sullivan (FA Kart / Vortex) was 3rd in front of Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart / Vortex). But O’Neill Muth (Zanardi / Parilla) was not long in seizing 4th position. Jack Doohan (FA Kart / Vortex) fell to 30th. Thompson attacked the leader in mid-race, but O’Sullivan immediately seized 1st place ahead of Muth and Coluccio. The intensity of the battle rose a notch for the finish and Thompson and Muth suffered the consequences. O’Sullivan won ahead of Coluccio, clearly ahead of Zane Maloney (FA Kart / Vortex) who had gained back 10 places, Hugo Sasse (CRG / Parilla) was 4th, Rosso 5th and Dexter Patterson (Birel ART / TM) 6th. Shihab Al Habsi (Parolin / TM) made a superb 18-place progression to the top 10. Doohan finished 19th, Muth 20th, and Evann Mallet (Exprit / TM) gave up two laps from the goal.

Giuseppe Fusco (Evokart / LKE) then passed Chris Lulham (Tony Kart / Parilla) for 4th place, but the Briton replied immediately and headed for the 1st place he reached in mid-race.
