Andrea Rosso takes command in OK-Junior

The OK-Junior races have been very tightly contested and sometimes too restless with numerous incidents at all levels of the ranking. We saw some notorious falls of favourites as well as striking comebacks. To be clear, the Zanardi and CRGs, who had not made a big impression in Qualifying, have largely corrected this during the heats.

Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart / Vortex) took the lead with two victories to his credit, ahead of the very convincing Jonny Edgar (Exprit / TM) and compatriot Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex). Luca Bosco (Tony Kart / Vortex) had a good 4th place finish ahead of Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart / Vortex). Mattia Michelotto (Zanardi / Parilla) impressed moving up from the 23rd time to the 6th position, while the name of Hugo Sasse (CRG / Parilla) appeared in 7th for the first time.

Chris Lulham (Tony Kart / Parilla) and Zak O’Sullivan (FA Kart / Vortex) have been downgraded from the top two places in the 8th and 9th positions, without their potential decreasing. Finally, Gabriel Bortoleto (CRG / Parilla) completed the top 10 with a good consistency after his retirement. Leonardo Marseglia (Zanardi / Parilla) in 12th, O’Neill Muth (Zanardi / Parilla) 13th and Kas Haverkort (CRG / Parilla) 16th, have also seen their score worsen due to a retirement each.

Hadrien David (Zanardi / Parilla) is ranked 18th, Evann Mallet (Exprit / TM) 21st, and Gillian Henrion (CRG / Parilla) 44th but progressing in terms of material performance. Loris Cabirou (Sodi / TM) and Jules Mettetal (Kosmic / Parilla) finished the qualifying run for the Prefinals, with what can be called very different luck.
