It was a successful start for the Sodi boys Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) and Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) who managed to get straight on to the right trajectory. Jérémy Iglesias (Formula K / TM) was placed 3rd ahead of Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Patrik Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex). Lammers attacked his teammate to take the lead, but Abbasse replied at the end of the straight at the bottom of the circuit and Lammers lost places while Iglesias took the opportunity to take control. Ardigo climbed up slightly on the kart in front of him and dropped to 8th. Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM) moved up very fast, but made contact with Abbasse and gave up.

Iglesias had pulled out a small gap, but Lammers was back in his wake. Hajek was 3rd, Stan Pex (CRG / TM) 4th and Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) 5th, followed by Abbasse and Ardigo. Very fast, Lorenzo Camplese (Parolin / TM) had gained over 10 places by midway. Iglesias was trying to control the threat from Lammers, which is never an easy task. The Dutchman eventually surpassed the Frenchman on lap 12. Further back, Ardigo set an excellent time and moved closer to Abbasse, then Pex surpassed Hajek for 3rd place. The Czech then gave way to the invincible duo Abbasse and Ardigo. Lammers won the suspenseful race nearly a second ahead of Iglesias, Pex kept 3rd place despite Abbasse’s return at less than 3 tenths and Ardigo finished 5th. Adrian Renaudin (Sodi / TM) was 23rd (+ 9p) and Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) 27th after a few disappointments.
