After his pole in the rain, Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) showed his speed on a dry track, although not very grippy, by winning heat AD after a heated duel with his team-mate Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM). Luca Corberi (Tony Kart / Vortex) also performed well in the varied conditions with two great victories. He thus leads his team leader Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex), 3rd on points along with Lammers. Emil Skaras (Tony Kart / TM) further improved by taking 5th ahead of Jérémy Iglesias (Formula K / TM), impressive when the rain stopped. Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / TM) made a good performance from 14th to 7th position just ahead of Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / TM), the top Desenzano driver who seems to be suffering this weekend at Castelletto. Patrik Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex) showed remarkable competitiveness, 9th despite a difficult first leg. Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) is in an interesting 16th position, just behind Rick Dreezen (Birel ART / Vortex) and three places ahead of Douglas Lundberg (Sodi / TM), while Adrien Renaudin (Sodi / TM) ranks very honourably in 32nd.
