Poleman Andrea Rosso (Tony Kart / Vortex) took two wins and a 2nd place to stay in the lead of the Winter Cup OK-Junior, but Britons Chris Lulham (Tony Kart / Parilla) and Harry Thompson (FA Kart / Vortex) returned brilliantly to the top three. The Czech Roman Stanek (Kosmic / Vortex) made a strong impression by winning his last two heats, which allowed him to rank 4th ahead of Leonardo Marseglia (Zanardi / Parilla). Franco-Italian Luca Bosco (Tony Kart / Vortex) continued his momentum in 8th place, while Evann Mallet (CRG / Parilla) climbed from 31st to 13th. Hadrien David (Zanardi / Parilla) completed the qualifying phase in 23rd place and Loris Cabirou (Sodi / TM) in 43rd.
Qualifying will continue on Sunday morning with the two “Super Heats”.
