The Baby Race driver, rookie in the OKJ, ended really close to the TOP 10 in the Final.

The new racing season couldn’t have a better start for the OKJ’s rookie Luca Bosco, who was one of the quickest driver on track for the whole week end in the WSK Champions Cup, held in Adria. The Baby Race driver has been very quick since the very beginning of the week end, improving his performances step by step and finishing 13th overall in the Final. The Adria “premiere” of the season represented the first of a long list of races in which the italian driver will have to fight against the international top performers of the OKJ category. Very fast since the free practice sessions, Bosco was able to score the 7th place during qualifying session, just two tenths behind the pole sitter Mallet, showing immediately a perfect feeling with his new Tony Kart chassis. After the good result achieved in qualy, Bosco did a very good job in the 4 heats too finishing twice sixth, once twelfth and once third.

With these results Bosco got the chance to start the Pre Final from the 4th row (7th) on the grid. Unluckly, at the very beginning of the Pre Final, Bosco have been involved in a very tough figth on track, which has pulled him back in 19th positions overall. Despite of this, Bosco started to push very hard to gain positions once again and he was able to take the chequered flag in 13th position overall. In the Final Bosco, starting from the 13th row, had to fight very hard to put his kart as much as possible in the front. Making a lot of spectacular overtakes, the italian driver took the chequered flag in 13th position after a very consistent race, which proved his driving skills. To be noticed, his best lap during the race (49’991) was just two tenths off the best lap overall, settled by Kikkenborg.

Luca Bosco: “I am very satisfied about my racing week end. I had to fight agaist 60 very skilled drivers and my final position, so close to the top 10, is more then enough considering it was my first race in the new category. It was a pity to start the Final so far from the front row due to the big fights at the start of the Pre Final. I am pretty sure that if i would be able to start the Final in the first rows i would be able to fight for the TOP 5. Now i have anyway to keep the concentration high because in few days we’re back (once again in Adria) on track for the first race of the WSK Super Master Series.

The italian driver wil take a rest for few days and then again on track for the free practice sessions of Round 1 WSK Super Master Series, organized in Adria by WSK Promotion.
