With his two victories already won, Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) didn’t need to take too many risks in his last heat to take the lead in the intermediate standings at the Bahrain World Championship. Close behind him is the very consistent Paavo Tonteri (CRG / Parilla), in 2nd position throughout the day. Basz won his two races by overtaking Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex) on the last lap. The Italian is 3rd in front of his compatriot Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex). A spoiler penalty deprived Noah Milell (Kosmic / Vortex) of a second win that would have propelled him to the top of the ranking instead of taking 5th place. Fast, but not very lucky, Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Parilla) is 6th in front of the excellent Alexander Smolyar (Tony Kart / Vortex). Jordon Lennox-Lamb (Birel ART / Parilla) made a very good recovery in 8th position after his 23rd in Qualifying. Vincent Fraïsse (Sodi / TM) made a good run too coming back from 22nd to 13th position. Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) is in 17th place before the qualifying Prefinals on Saturday afternoon.
