Dennis Kroes quickly took a small advantage over Scott Campbell in the first lap of the Final in DD2 Masters. Lee Mitchener and Antti Ollikainen then attacked the Canadian, Luis Schiavo was in 5th place ahead of Robert Pesevski. Although starting further back Charly Hipp joined in the fight. On the 6th lap, Campbell and Schiavo crashed on the left near the big tent, and it was retirement for both. Kroes then passed Ollikainen on the next lap, Pesevski approached Mitchener with the fastest lap. Further back, Christophe Adams came back well from his 26th position on the grid, although his natural gallantry forced him to miss Tiffany Chittenden. The battle for 2nd place continued and Mitchener managed to pass Kroes. Back to 5th, Hipp seemed limited in performance while the others improved their times. The duel remained tight for victory between Ollikainen and Michener, well detached from the pack. Pssevski lost places in favour of Ryan Urban and Jan Andreasen. Hipp retired after trying everything to counter his lack of speed. Mitchener used the final lap to attack Ollikainen from the outside in the hairpin and took a handsome victory. Kroes finished 3rd, Pesevski 4th and Kris Walton took 5th position.
