Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Maxter) made the best start when the Prefinal 1 lights went out, ahead of Matteo Vigano (Top Kart / Parilla) pushing in 2nd position then Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM), closely followed by Benjamin Törnqvist (CRG / TM). Max Tubben (CRG / TM) then attacked and captured 4tg position. In 8th, Luca Corberi (Tony Kart / Vortex) pushed to get back to the leaders. Alessandro Irlando (Energy / TM) didn’t make a very good start and he wasn’t satisfied with his position. Tubben was fastest, Besancenez attacked before mid-race and chased Vigano, while Hiltbrand increased his advantage to almost a second. We were watching Tom Joyner’s (Zanardi / Parilla) ascent to gain his place in the Final, followed by Nicolas Picot (Tony Kart / Vortex). Tubben managed to take 2nd place against Vigano, Törnqvist passed Besancenez for 4th while Leuillet approached. The pressure from Gerard Cebrian Ariza (CRG / TM) and Corberi behind him intensified. Tubben quickly returned to Hiltbrand in the last two laps. Hiltbrand retained his 1st place on the finish line, 3/10 ahead of the amazing Tubben, who will be penalized and classified 10th with Vigano 2nd despite the threat of Törnqvist, Besancenez 4th, Leuillet 5th, Corberi 6th, Joyner 12th, Picot 15th, some of those who qualified, although Irlando was unfortunately placed 18th.

Tommaso Mosca (Maranello / TM) was not sufficiently responsive at the start of Prefinal 2 and Felice Tiene (CRG / TM) took the lead, followed by John Norris (Tony Kart / Vortex). But Mosca attacked on the first lap to recover 2nd position, followed by Fabian Federer (CRG / Modena). Marco Zanchetta (Maranello / TM) moved up to 5th ahead of Daniel Stell (CRG / Modena). Then Francesco Iacovacci (Luxor / LKE) passed Stell for 4th, with Marijn Kremers (Birel ART / Parilla) and Paolo Ippolito (Lenzo / LKE) in his wake. At the front, with the gap widening the gap with Tiene and Mosca, Federer perfectly controlled Norris. The situation hardly changed at the finish with victory for Tiene against Mosca, Federer 3rd, Norris 4th and Stell 5th. Antonio Cavalieri (Kosmic / Vortex) qualified 12th after a rise of 11 places, Alexander Smolyar (Tony Kart / Vortex) 16th with a gain of 16 positions.
