KZ: Abbasse wins the prefinal

No surprise at the start of the KZ Prefinal as Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) led ahead of Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM). Patrik Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex) got the better of Jorrit Pex (CRG / Vortex) for 3rd place and Jérémy Iglesias (Sodi / TM) soon passed the Dutchman to go 4th. Abbasse attacked Ardigo and took the lead on lap 4. Paolo De Conto (CRG / TM) took 4th place from Iglesias, while Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / Parilla) was back in 7th and Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) 9th. Simo Puhakka (CRG / TM) then seized 5th position and Jordon Lennox-Lamb (Birel ART / Parilla) 7th, ahead of Lammers. Abbasse increased his advantage over Ardigo and won the race, Hajek was 3rd, De Conto 4th,  Puhakka 5th and Iglesias 6th having resisted Lennox-Lamb. Lammers, in 8th, was credited with the biggest gain (7places).
