While cumulonimbus clouds were gathering around Adria, Alessandro Irlando (Energy / TM) was going ahead of Prefinal 1 ahead of Stan Pex (CRG / Vortex). Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart / Vortex) gave up on the first lap, after being destroyed in a collision. Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) was immediately installed in 3rd position. Tom Leuillet (Sodi / TM) kept pace in 4th place with Luca Corberi (Tony Kart / Vortex) a few lengths back, and Francesco Celenta (Formula K / TM) yielding ground. Pierre Loubère (Sodi / Parilla) cleverly kept his 7th place. Eric Ramon (Energy / Parilla) lost significant positions, but was fighting for qualification. The differences were gradually increasing, especially to the leader Alex, well detached ahead of Pex. Lorandi finished 3rd, Leuillet 4th by 5/10, Celenta took Corberi for 5th on the last lap, and Loubère was 7th. Ramon failed in 20th position.

Matteo Vigano (Top Kart / Parilla) started perfectly at the lights of Prefinal 2 followed by Fabian Federer (CRG / Modena), Dylan Davies (CRG / TM) and Matteo Zanchi (GP Racing / TM). Paolo Ippolito (Lenzo / LKE) had hit Marcu Dionisios (Tony Kart / Vortex), stuck on the starting line, and Kevin Petit (Sodi / TM) did not leave the grid. Federer went ahead before halfway, and Marijn Kremers (ART Birel / Parilla) went up to 3rd. Nicolas Gonzales (Sodi / TM) and Nicolas Picot (Tony Kart / Vortex) had retired earlier, Gabin Leuillet (Sodi / TM) was struggling in 16th position, a few places ahead of Paul Fontaine (Sodi / TM). Federer took the lead irretrievably and won the race by more than two seconds ahead of Vigano, with Kremers 3rd, Davies 4th and Zanchi 5th. Leuillet qualified in 15th, but Fontaine crossed the line in 18th place.
