Basz the winner of the OK Final ahead of Garcia at Adria

Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) held the lead solidly in the OK Final. Marta Garcia (Evokart / Parilla) was attacking Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) under braking on lap 3 to take 2nd position in front of Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Paavo Tonteri (CRG / Parilla), while Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM), still on track, gave up ground in 7th position. Joyner then fell to 9th behind Christian Lundgaard (Ricciardo / Parilla). Martijn Van Leeuwen (Birel ART / Parilla) was not in his element in 13th position, unlike Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Parilla), and Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) launched a desperate comeback.

At halfway Basz was still in the lead by 7/10 from Garcia, but the gap was reduced, while Travisanutto was now 3rd by 1.8”. Alexander Smoylar (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 4th ahead of Tonteri, and Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla) gained six places to 6th. Basz accelerated to avoid a Garcia attack and set the fastest time on the 15th lap. Basz won the race ahead of Garcia and Travisanutto, with Smoylar 4th, Tiene 5th, and Hanley 6th. Hiltbrand finished 14th (+9 places), Sargeant 15th (+11 places) and Simmenauer 16th (+9 places).
