Adria: Basz control Joyner in the prefinal OK

Starting on pole, Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) was gradually overtaken by Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla), while Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 3rd, was followed by Marta Garcia (Evokart / Parilla) and Martijn Van Leeuwen ( ART Birel / Parilla). Gheno, Simmenauer and Sargeant had given up on the first lap in a collision. Garcia made a beautiful move up the inside on Travisanutto on the 10th lap. Meanwhile Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM) moved up to 6th position with a gain of 10 places. Hiltbrand retired before halfway while Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla) neared the top 10. Basz was better able to withstand Joyner and eventually imposed by more than a second. Marta Garcia, in 3rd, set the fastest time at the end of race, ahead of Travisanutto and Hanley in 5th.
