The leader from start to finish in the KZ Final at Zuera, Patrik Hajek (Kosmic / Vortex) stood up to Jérémy Iglesias (Sodi / TM) and Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) to give the Kosmic team a victory. We waited until halfway to see Ardigo up the pace as he does so often, but in vain. The gaps continued to fluctuate within this trio without varying the positions. Meanwhile, Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) took hold of 4th place and his teammate Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) managed a superb recovery of 11 places to finish 5th, enough to make him regret his clash with Stan Pex in the Prefinal even more. Simo Puhakka (CRG / Maxter) finished in the 6th position as the first CRG, while Jordon Lennox-Lamb (Birel ART / Parilla) reached 7th place with the fastest time of the race. Not bad so far, Lorenzo Camplese (Parolin / TM) gained no less than nine positions, finishing 9th.
