OK: great final victory for Sargeant in WSK at La Conca

Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) was attacked by Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) on the first lap of the OK Final, Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) was 3rd ahead of Martijn Van Leeuwen (Birel ART / Parilla) who was delayed by starting on the outside line. Sargeant reclaimed the lead on lap 3, while Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex) had passed Van Leeuwen. In 6th position, Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Parilla) was already behind. Joyner gave everything he could, and managed to keep pace Sargeant who was flying. Van Leeuwen passed Travisanutto to get 4th place on lap 8, imitated later by Hiltbrand.

By mid-race, Sargeant was approaching the two seconds ahead of Joyner with Novalak remaining close to the Zanardi driver in 3rd position. Hiltbrand then grabbed 4th place 1.8” from Novalak. After a bad start, Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) came back to Travisanutto and took 6th position with five laps left. Sargeant finished his triumphant weekend with the Final victory, with the fastest race time, 3.4” from Joyner who stood in the way of Novalak. Hiltbrand was 4th and Basz up to 5th. In 14th early in the race, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished strongly in 9th position ahead of Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla).
