Sargeant invincible in the OK heats at La Conca

Heat 1
There was a nice duel between Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) and Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) who won by 55 thousandths from the American. Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex) dropped to 9th after looking for trouble with Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla), 5th, while he was the top three. Martijn Van Leeuwen (Birel ART / Parilla) took 3rd place ahead of Alexander Smolyar (Tony Kart / Vortex). Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) remade some of his deficit with 6th. Faster at the end, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) had to settle for 12th position.

Heat 2
It was a very exciting race that saw Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) beaten for a time by Martijn Van Leeuwen (Birel ART / Parilla) before taking control and prevailing while Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) came back strongly in 3rd position, followed by Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla), who set the fastest time. Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) lost ground in 5th position, while Alexander Smolyar (Tony Kart / Vortex) was beaten by Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla) for 6th position. Although starting steadily, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) passed Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Parilla) on the final lap to finish 8th.

Heat 3
It was the third straight win for Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex), followed closely by again by Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex), both rookies relegating the older Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex), with the fastest lap, Tom Joyner ( Zanardi / Parilla) and Martijn Van Leeuwen (Birel ART / Parilla) down in the top five. the race was marred by seven retirements, including David Brinkmann (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex ).

Sargeant is naturally the undisputed leader of the heats ahead of Novalak, Van Leeuwen, Basz and Joyner.
