Winter Cup: Peisselon and Shvetsov win the OK-Junior Prefinals

Timothy Peisselon (FA Kart / Vortex) was alone at the head of Prefinal A for OK-Junior. Fin Kenneally (FA Kart / Vortex) tried to reduce the gap after overtaking Guido Moggia (Tony Kart / Vortex), but Peisselon won by 1”. Pavel Bulanzev (Tony Kart / Vortex) moved up 11 places to finish 3rd ahead of Noah Watt (Tony Kart / TM) who lost six places on the first lap and returned to 4th. Thomas Mialane (Energy / TM) fought hard to get his qualification in 17th position while Julian Kuwabara Wagg (Sodi / TM) finished in a very respectable 20th place.

 

Theo Pourchaire (Kosmic / Vortex) had to retire in a clash on the first round of Prefinal B, led from start to finish by Ivan Shvetsov (Tony Kart / Vortex). Frederik Vesti (Exprit / Vortex) confirmed his position in 2nd place, while Oscar Piastri (FA Kart / Vortex) moved up to 3rd position ahead of Dennis Hauger (CRG / Parilla). Milan Petelet (Praga / Parilla) came back four places to 8th position. Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) retired after contact, then Theo Nouet (Energy / TM) lost all his chances as well as Gillian Henrion (Tony Kart / Vortex). Adam Eteki (Tony Kart / Vortex) accelerated late in the race to clinch 14th position ahead of Franck Chappard (Kosmic / Vortex), also faster at the end.
