Winter Cup OK Prefinal: Nielsen the dominant winner

The good weather continued at Lonato for the start of the OK Prefinal, with temperatures rising. Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) was unable to start, after stopping on the formation lap. Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) dominated the race, winning with a 2.3” lead while Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex) took over 2nd place from Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM), after a good start. Martijn Van Leeuwen (Birel ART / Parilla) was 3rd for a while before retiring. After a great start, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 4th resisted the return of Noah Millel (Kosmic / Vortex) in 5th and Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) 6th. There was a good performance from Hugo Arnaud (Tony Kart / TM), who was 14th early in the race and 18th at the finish line.
