Penalties for dislodged spoilers significantly altered the outcome of the OK Prefinals. In the A, Christian Lundgaard (Energy / TM) took 1st position ahead of Paavo Tonteri (CRG / Parilla), Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex), Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) and Bent Viscaal (Tony Kart / Vortex) were punished as were Martijn Van Leeuwen (Birel ART / Parilla) and Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) in the B.

The race began with a superb battle for the lead with Lundgaard then Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) in control with Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) in the role of the hunter, then Joyner, with a very good start, and Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / Parilla) fighting for 4th place. Viscaal came back strongly in 9th place. Eight karts were stopped on the edge of the track, including those of Lucas Légeret (Birel ART / Parilla) and Novalak, joined later by Benjamin Lessenes (Kosmic / Parilla). Tonteri returned to 5th while Basz was trying to reduce the gap with the leader Sargeant. Also penalised in the Prefinal, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) gained 11 places to 13th position.

Sargeant continued to increase his lead over Basz, although isolated in 2nd place. In contrast, Camponeschi, Tonteri and Nielsen and regrouped behind Lundgaard for four laps. The young Danish driver nicely manages to control the threat from Camponeschi and held 3rd place at the checkered flag, while Sargeant had established a 3” ahead of Basz.
