Sargeant already ahead in Qualifying in OK at the WSK Champions Cup

Already well ahead of everyone during OK practice, Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) was clearly ahead of most of his opponents in the first qualifying session. Only Lorenzo Travisanutto (Tony Kart / Vortex) approached him by 54 mils. In 3rd position, Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla) was more than 3/10 off, followed by Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart / Vortex) and Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla).

In the second group, the battle raged between Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex), joined by Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) and Max Hesse (Exprit / TM). Nielsen was trying to beat the benchmark time from Sargeant, but failed by 86 mils. Hesse ensured 2nd place by 4/100 while Paavo Tonteri (CRG / Parilla) just grabbed 3rd position ahead of Basz, Flavio Camponeschi (CRG / Parilla) and Novalak.

Logan Sargeant, the Junior World Champion, didn’t fail on his debut on the OK stage. Dominating during practice, his FA Kart / Vortex from the RFM team allowed him to snatch pole. Ward Racing pulled it off by giving Lorenzo Travisanutto a machine capable of competing with the leader. The RB Racing team is used to surprises and enabled Max Hesse to get noticed in 4th position at the wheel of a Exprit / TM, while Paavo Tonteri offers a place in the top five to CRG.
