A dozen drivers seem to be able to distinguish themselves in terms of pure performance. Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex), who won two races, has had to manage the first two or three laps before his equipment gives the maximum, which has failed in one heat where he had to settle for 4th position. He was also twice victorious and is slightly ahead in the intermediate classification, but Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) remains a very serious opponent. The two drivers clashed severely during the AB heat and we can’t determine with certainty who was the best. In any case, neither will give anything away. The well-known ability of the Tony Kart factory to offer the best machine to its top driver on Sunday may play in the balance.

Despite only one victory, Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM) is in the race lead at every opportunity, like his countrymen Jordon Lennox-Lamb (BirelART / Parilla) and Tom Joyner (Zanardi / TM), a driver known to gain momentum throughout the event. The British clan will have a say in the final stages. Martijn Van Leeuwen (CRG / TM) is also very consistent in the top three, slightly more so than Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Parilla). Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex) also has a lot of potential, but still suffers from his lack of experience compared to the others. To be thorough, we also need to remembered Casper Roes Andersen (FA Kart / Vortex), Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla) and Marcus Armstrong (Tony Kart / Vortex). Also noteworthy is the beautiful trajectory of Juan Correa (Energy / TM), last in qualifying, but who significantly reduced the delay.
