De Conto in front in KZ Qualifying

Bas Lammers (Sodi / TM) and Paolo De Conto (CRG / Maxter) clashed during the first session of Qualifying for the KZ World Championship at Le Mans while the sun was less strong. De Conto got closer and closer to 51”, Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) took the lead, and Patrik Hajek (Formula K / Parilla) was interfering in the top three. De Conto finally prevailed with 51” 978 ahead of Pex and Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM) who took 3rd in a last effort. Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 5th place behind Hajek and in front of Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM).

Douglas Lundberg (Kosmic / Vortex) and Andrea Dale (CRG / TM) were ahead in the second session before the final struggle really started seconds from the end of session. Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) was attempting to imitate his young teammate Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) who remained the leader with a lap of 52”067. Dale was 3rd, Lundberg 4th and Rick Dreezen (Ricciardo / Parilla) 5th.

Pole position went to De Conto, Pex 2nd, Nielsen 3rd, Hanley 4th and Ardigo 5th.
