Lundgaard the KF-Junior winner and Champion at Kristianstad

The classification of the prefinals changed with the sanctions administered by the sporting commission at Kristianstad. Kenny Roosens (Kosmic / Parilla), excluded from the prefinal 1 for bad behaviour, went to the tribunal to attempt to race in the Final. Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart / Vortex) was downgraded to 17th place, to start from the last row.

The race was simple as Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex) led from start to finish, first ahead of Marta Garcia (FA Kart / TM), followed by two Kosmic / Vortex mounted Brazilians Felipe Drugovich and Caio Collet, who were very impressive. Ulysse De Pauw (BirelART / Parilla) lost several places in a stampede on the first lap and he ended up giving up. While the European KF-Junior title was naturally looking promising for Lundgaard, 2nd place was the subject of a remote battle, in which Roosens, out of the race, was one of the elements. The rise of Presley Martono (Tony Kart / Vortex) to 7th place changed the situation and allowed him to take 2nd place from Roosens, Garcia being relegated to 4th position ahead of Novalak who was only 14th in the Final.

Lundgaard was the winner as the sun came back to Kristianstad, 3.2s ahead of Drugovich who seized the 2nd position against Garcia and Bent Viscaal (Tony Kart / Parilla) with Collet finishing 5th. The top French driver Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 18th place, Milane Petelet (Kosmic / Parilla) 20th and Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) 26th.

The final ranking could change according to possible penalties.
