If Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) was hoping for a quiet race in the lead, Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) quickly put a stop to that idea by passing on the second lap. Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) had been locked out and ended up 7th while Jordon Lennox-Lamb (BirelART / Parilla) ran third, followed by Ben Hanley (Croc Promotions / TM) and Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla). Arnaud Kozlinski (Sodi / TM) quickly returned to the top 10 after a good start gaining seven places.

From 4th, Hajek yielded to Hanley and Abbasse. But the trio had already gained a lead of more 2” lead on lap 6. Lennox-Lamb then lost contact with the other two and found himself under threat from Abbasse. Camponeschi kept the pressure on the leader Ardigo and tried to attack him. He overtook on lap 12 under braking at the hairpin at the bottom of the circuit. Lennox-Lamb dropped back a short distance and was threatened by Abbasse and Hanley.

Further back, Jorrit Pex (Intrepid / TM) took 6th ahead of Mirko Torsellini (Ricciardo / TM), but Bas Lammers (Formula K / Parilla) continued his ascent and seized 7th place with four laps to go. The gap remained below 3/10 between Camponeschi and Ardigo. Lennox was 3rd by 2” from the leaders, Hanley 4th ahead of Abbasse. Camponeschi won, Ardigo was 2nd and Lennox-Lamb 3rd – the final podium for KZ.
