According to information from the still unofficial Kartcom intermediate classification, Kenny Roosens (Kosmic / Parilla) has won the day by taking four wins from four races in the qualifying heats of the European KF-Junior Championship at the Kartodromo do Algarve. Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex) is the other hero of the day with a meteoric rise to 2nd place (one win) from the 18th in qualifying. With two victories, Teddy Wilson (Tony Kart / Vortex) took 3rd place ahead of the poleman Sami Worship (FA Kart / Vortex) after some very good races. There was an interesting 5th place for Antonio Serravalle (Tony Kart / Vortex) ahead of Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex) who was recovering from a long way back. Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) took no unnecessary risks to ensure 7th position.
Ulysse De Pauw (BirelART / Parilla) had a difficult second heat but still saved the situation with 15th position, just ahead of Caio Collet (Kosmic / Vortex), who didn’t make a good start, but was very convincing in the last two heats. 18th and the top French driver, Milane Petelet (Kosmic / Parilla) has probably done much better without a vile and cowardly clash in heat 3. The rapid Sebastian Persson (Tony Kart / Vortex) – 4th in qualifying – suffered before taking 3rd and 2nd places that currently place him in 28th position on the edge of the repechage.
