Despite the complicated weather conditions, Giuliano Alesi managed to conquer the weekend in Sarthe by scoring many points in each race. He leaves the classic endurance circuit among the leading drivers competing for the overall victory in the Championship.
Giuliano Alesi: “It was a very tough weekend mentally. From free practice I was very comfortable in the car and I set the fastest lap times in qualifying but unfortunately I didn’t manage to confirm my performance.
In the three races, in difficult conditions with very low visibility, I tried to understand each race, trying to score as many points as possible and finish the races, because my goal remains the final ranking in the Championship.“
