Ye Yifei the indisputable poleman in KF-Junior

The situation was settled in the dying seconds of the first timed session in KF-Junior at Sarno. Lucas Légeret (BirelART / Parilla) beat  Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex) on the line by 12 mils with a last lap of 1’07”440. Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex) moved up to 3rd position, Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) was in 6th place ahead of Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) and Felipe Drugovich (Kosmic / Vortex). Leading two minutes before the deadline, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) finished 11th, while the championship leader, Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) was 16th by 3/10.

The second session saw Noah Watt (FA Kart / Vortex) and Ye Yifei (Exprit / Vortex) go head to head and Ye won with a remarkable last lap of 1’06”921, relegating Watt by 0.148”. Davide Vidales (Energy / TM) finished 3rd in front of Timothy Peisselon (BirelART / Parilla) in a superb 4th, followed by Sebastian Fernandez Wahbeh (Exprit / Vortex). This session was much faster than the previous with the top 14 places overall.

Ye Yifei, seen last week in the French F4 Championship, took pole ahead of Watt and Vidales, Légeret, the fastest of the first session was 15th, Lundgaard 17th and Maini 19th.
