Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) and Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) made contact on the first formation lap, probably due to a technical problem. The race started in the right order after another formation lap. Several karts were stacked the first hairpin, Thomas Bale (FA Kart / Vortex) was even ejected from his kart, but restarted while Maxime Potty (Kosmic / Vortex), Nikita Sitnikov (Tony Kart / TM), Juho Valtanen (Kosmic / Vortex) , Aatu Moilainen (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Marcu Dionisios (Tony Kart / Vortex) remained on the sidelines.

Unsurprisingly, Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) escaped ahead of Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex), Basz, Casper Roes (FA Kart / Vortex) and Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla). Ben Hanley (Croc Promotion / TM) came back strongly in 8th position behind Tom Joyner (Zanardi / TM). Basz then gave up ground to Roes and Tiene. Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) lost a lot of time at the start and continued to drop. Bale had retired as well as Martijn Van Leeuwen (CRG / TM).

Nielsen stopped on lap eight, so Vartanyan didn’t need much encouragement to go ahead of Lorandi and Tiene. Benjamin Lessennes (Zanardi / TM) and Gasper Mihevic (Tony Kart / Vortex) crashed and retired themselves at the halfway point. Vartanyan upped the pace again and won ahead of his opponents. Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex), up to 5th put pressure on Roes in front of him and got past into 4th with three laps left. Basz fought to keep 6th against Joyner, while Marcus Armstrong (Tony Kart / Vortex) closed up to them.

Vartanyan won this strange final with the fastest time, 3.6” in front of Lorandi, himself nearly 3” in front of Tiene. Verschoor finished 4th, Roes 5th, Basz 6th, Joyner 7th and Armstrong 8th. But the race saw too much misfortune to leave a good memory.
