Puhakka ahead of Ardigo in the KZ2 prefinal

Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) started in the lead at the lights of the KZ2 prefinal, ahead of Simo Puhakka (CRG / Maxter). Jordon Lennox-Lamb (BirelART / Parilla) was 3rd from Paolo De Conto (CRG / Maxter). Arnaud Kozlinski (Sodi / TM) and Rick Dreezen (Ricciardo / Parilla) crashed and retired at the start, and Jorrit Pex (Intrepid / TM) also dropped. Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) quickly moved up to 5th position ahead of Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Douglas Lundberg (Kosmic / Vortex). Jeremy Iglesias (Alpha / TM) was back in the top 10 with Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla) and Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla).

The fastest man on the track, Puhakka remained in the wheeltracks of Ardigo and attacked on lap nine. Lundberg yielded to Hajek and Iglesias, and De Conto passed Lennox-Lamb at the end of the straight on lap 12. Puhakka won by more than a second ahead of Ardigo, with De Conto 3rd, Lennox-Lamb 4th and Abbasse 5th.
