KF-Junior: De Pauw wins prefinal A

Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) started from the front of prefinal A in KF-Junior but Ulysse De Pauw (BirelART / Parilla) took the lead on the third lap. Four drivers crashed at the first corner and it was over for Antonio Serravalle (Tony Kart / Vortex), Dmitrii Bogdanov (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Nicklas Kruetten (Tony Kart / Vortex). Sargeant took control, Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart / Vortex) was 3rd, Lorenzo Colombo (Tony Kart / LKE) 4th, and Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex) 5th. There was a good start to the race from Lucas Légeret (BirelART / Parilla) in 7th place ahead of Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex). Artem Petrov (DR / TM) came back strongly ahead of Caio Collet (Kosmic / Vortex) who was delayed in the early laps.

The battle was still going on for 1st place between Sargeant and De Pauw, before Yue Yang joined in. De Pauw won the race, while three drivers went over the finish line together: Yue Yang was 2nd by 23/100 against Sargeant and Maini who was 4th by 31/100. Colombo finished 5th, Légeret 6th, Simmenauer 7th. Back to 9th place for Collet, with the fastest lap, and Timothy Peisselon (BirelART / Parilla) qualified in 17th position, while Tom Leuillet (BirelART / Parilla) finished 19th.
