Fore takes victory in KZ2 at the 26th Margutti Trophy

Alexander Schmitz (Tony Kart / Vortex) immediately took the lead of the KZ2 final against Davide Fore (CRG / TM) and Massimo Dante (Maranello / TM), while John Norris (Mach1 / TM) got the better of Enrico Bernardotto (Maranello / Modena) for 4th position. Fore tried to regain it, but Schmitz held on until the sixth lap. The leading trio of Fore, Schmitz and Dante kept up a torrid pace and the positions were far from fixed, especially as Norris did everything to join in the fight along with Bernardotto.

Schmitz was very insistent, but Fore is not determined to let him past. Despite the intensity of the race, the positions didn’t change until Dante found an opening on Schmitz to go 2nd in the 18th of 25 laps. Fore took the opportunity to gain a little more space and increased his lead in the following laps. Further back, we watched the recovery of Giacomo Pollini (CKR / TM), who set the fastest time, in 6th position in the wheeltracks of Bernardotto. Victory went to Davide Fore who won for the first time name in the history of the Margutti Trophy. Dante wa 2nd, Schmitz 3rd, Norris 4th, Bernardotto 5th and Pollini 6th.
