As the sun shone on South Garda Karting to start a beautiful spring weekend, the 27 KF drivers in the Andrea Margutti Trophy took to the track for their single timed session. Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex) took off straight away at the top of the rankings, Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex) passed him by 4 thousandths of a second, then the Russian responded with 42”788, Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) was 3rd ahead of Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Benjamin Lessennes (Zanardi / Parilla). Sasakorn Chaimongkol (Kosmic / Vortex) and Juan Correa (Energy / TM) finally took 5th and 6th positions. Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) and Juno Valtanen (Kosmic / Vortex) did not participate in the session.
