Castelletto WSK: Sargeant and Novalak victorious in the prefinals in KF-Junior

Davide Lombardo (Exprit / Vortex) did not keep the lead for long in Prefinal A. Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) took the lead at the second corner, then Lorenzo Colombo (Tony Kart / LKE) and Ivan Shvetsov (Tony Kart / Vortex) also took 2nd and 3rd. Perdana Minang was conspicuous in 5th place, 12 places up, and Petr Ptacek (Formula K / Parilla) was back strongly in the top 10 with a gain of 18 places. Charles Milesi (Tony Kart / Vortex) made a good start, and Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Tony Kart / Vortex) gradually approached the all-important 17th. Sargeant did not drop the pace and won the race ahead of Colombo and Shvetsov, Minang finished fourth, Milen Ponomarenko (Tony Kart / LKE) 5th and Bogdan Fetisov (FA Kart / Vortex) 6th. Sun Yue Yang (FA Kart / Vortex) set the fastest time and came back to 9th. Simmenauer was qualified with 15th and Milesi narrowly in 17th after being pushed back to 21st position. Artem Petrov (DR / TM) dropped sharply early in the race and ended up retiring. Rasmus Lindh (Ricciardo / Parilla) retired shortly before the finish.

Noah Watt (FA Kart / Vortex) managed to keep his head at the start of Prefinal B. Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) was determined and grabbed second place from the third lap overtaking Marta Garcia (FA Kart / TM). Milane Petelet (Kosmic / Vortex) was the victim of crash on the straight, and Muizziddin Bin Adul Gafar (CRG / Vortex) dropped to back of the pack later. David Vidales (Energy / TM) again took fourth ahead of Presley Martono (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Ulysses De Pauw (BirelART / Parilla). Lucas Légeret (BirelART / Parilla) quickly came back to the top 10, Tom Leuillet (BirelART / Parilla) lost some ground in 12th position ahead of Timothy Peisselon (BirelART / Parilla) who made an excellent start to the race with a gain of 11 places, followed by Christian Lundgaard (Tony Kart / Vortex). Vidales then lost a few places, while the leader Watt still resisted the pressure from Novalak, then Martono and Légeret in great shape. 8th place went to De Pauw, Leuillet was 10th, Vidales 12th, Peisselon 13th ahead of Lundgaard, who set the fastest lap.
