The KZ2 qualifying heats of the WSK Super Master Series were completed in the sun although it was relatively cool in the evening. The races were very tight and punctuated by intense battles as the differences are small between the leading competitors.

Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) managed to retain the first position in the top four in the heat A against D, despite constant pressure from Lorenzo Camplese (Formula K / Parilla), closely followed by Stan Pex (Intrepid / TM) and Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM), with the fastest lap of the race. Jordon Lennox-Lamb (BirelART / Parilla) finished in 5th position on his own, Davide Fore (CRG / Maxter) was 6th in front of Simo Puhakka (CRG / Maxter). 9th place went to Nicolas Gonzales (Alpha / TM) and 11th to Jeremy Iglesias (Alpha / TM) who had to lower the pace lap after lap.

Jorge Pescador (Praga / Parilla) won in the last race, B against C, which was first headed by Paolo De Conto (CRG / Maxter), who then retired. Then Bas Lammers (Formula K / Parilla) took second place with a lot of determination against Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), slightly behind for once. Behind Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla) in 4th, Arnaud Kozlinski (Sodi / TM) fought hard to come back after being behind at halfway. The fastest lap went to Mirko Torsellini (Ricciardo / TM) in 7th position.

In the unofficial Kartcom intermediate classification, Ardigo is in first position with three wins, ahead of Abbasse, Pescador and Hajek, with one win each. Camplese is 5th, Lennox-Lamb 6th, Fore 7th, Torsellini 8th, Camponeschi 9th and Dreezen 10th. Further back, Lammers is in 15th, De Conto 17th and Kozlinski 18th.
