Novalak gets ahead in Prefinal B

Artem Petrov (DR / TM) retained his leading position on the first lap of Prefinal B, but Logan Sargeant (FA Kart / Vortex) and Clement Novalak (Tony Kart / Vortex) exceeded Yi Fei Ye (Exprit / Vortex). Sargeant captured the lead on the 3rd lap. There was a big gain for Gilles Magnus (Parolin / TM) close to the top 10, while Milane Petelet (Kosmic / Parilla) was fighting near the fateful 17th place after losing ground on the first lap.

Sargeant and Petrov were neck-and-neck in the lead, far ahead of Novalak. Gleb Zotov (Tony Kart / TM) set consecutive fastest times and was back up to 7th with Kenny Roosens (Kosmic / Parilla). Petrov was back in the head at halfway Novalak joined the open duel with the leading duo then passed Sargeant on lap 11. Kush Maini (Tony Kart / Vortex) attacked Yi Ye for 4th place, and was soon imitated by Lorenzo Colombo (Tony Kart / LKE). Novalak took control on the 12th lap, Maini went 3rd, and Zotov was 5th ahead of Milen Ponomarenko (Tony Kart / Vortex). Petrov lost another place on the penultimate lap. Victory went to Novalak ahead of Maini, Sargeant, Petrov and Ponomarenko, Roosens 7th, Magnus 14th and Petelet just qualifying in 17th.
