Spoilers and penalties fall at Lonato

We looked forward to the first qualifying heats of the Winter Cup to judge the effectiveness of new bumper fixings and the commissioners work regarding them. After four races in KF-Junior, ten penalties of 30” have been applied, including nine in the last race. Nothing to report at this time in KF, but there were 10 penalties in the only heat for the KZ2 category, that has so far not used this new configuration. Before you can see a more complete picture, the consequences need to be integrated by the drivers: at Lonato, the commissioners aren’t joking and the drivers have yet to adapt to this new behaviour. The good news is that the racing is likely to be fairer than before. The 2015 spoilers will now be used in the wet conditions forecast for Saturday, which will be devoted to heats.
