Forza already fully on the pace in 2015

Faithful to the Tony Kart chassis, this year Forza Racing are using Vortex engines prepared by One Engines. Jamie Croxford’s team fielded two drivers in KF and KF-Junior in the first races of the season in 2015, at the WSK Champions Cup at La Conca. From the outset, the Forza boys played leading roles despite the not always favourable weather conditions.

The young Indian Kush Maini, 4th in the World Championship in KF-Junior in 2014, immediately took the measure of his Tony Kart / Vortex in Forza Racing colours first by producing excellent results in the qualifying heats before achieving 4th and 2nd place finishes in the two Italian races. These excellent results have earned him 4th place in the Junior Championship.

Visibly pleased with the team he joined in June at Zuera, Egor Stupenkov decided to continue with Forza Racing this season. Very fast in the wet during the first meeting, he took the second step of the podium with flying colours. Despite first-class performance, the second meeting generally ran less smoothly, and Egor had to retire in final while battling in the top five. Disappointed to have missed the podium of the championship, Egor still finished well, in 5th. Meanwhile, Italy’s Aldo Festante raced in KF for the first time at La Conca with some restraint.

Forza Racing has shown very sharp potential at the first international competition in 2015, which should allow the team to increase its training before the start of the upcoming major championships.
