The sky was clear again for qualifying practice for the KF category at La Conca. Juan Correa (Energy / TM) set the first reference time, dropping under the 47′ mark but Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) was quick to respond with 46”376 and 46”252. Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) followed by 2/10. Then Tom Bale (FA Kart / Vortex) came within 67 thousandths of the leader, followed by Marcus Armstrong (Tony Kart / Vortex). Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) waited for the last moment to return to third position, but Vartanyan took the place on the last lap. Fewtrell ranked 5th, Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) 6th, Armstrong 7th, Casper Andersen Roes (FA Kart / Vortex) 8th, Martijn Van Leeuwen (CRG / TM) 9th and Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex) 10th ahead of Correa. It was 19th for the only French driver on the track, François Becamel (Kosmic / Parilla).
