WSK Champions Cup: some changes in the final ranking of KF

The stewards had to work hard after the complicated KF race. In all, eight exclusions were imposed.

– Nicklas Nielsen: After early problems at the restart he ended up a lap down, which implies that he should have stopped after a blue flag with a red cross.

– Leonardo Lorandi finished without a bumper, which is not allowed by the Regulations especially after being presented with a black flag with orange disc.

– Four RFM drivers, Fewtrell, Vips, Andersen and Bale, as well as Jakub Kadlcak and Aldo Festante received unauthorized assistance on the grid before the restart.

Although Verschoor and Stupenkov retain their top two places, Emil Skaras gets 3rd place and François Becamel is now credited with 4th position.

For the KF-Junior final, there was an exclusion for being under the minimum weight (Yue Yang), two 30” penalties for dropped bumpers (Tridici and Abrusci), three 10” penalties for benefitting from going beyond the limits of the track (Novalak, Simmenauer and Giardelli) and 10” for a bad manoeuvre (Vidales).

The absence of a penalty against a driver a who frankly cut the track was a little more surprising, and whose best lap 56”349 is highly unlikely on such a slippery wet track.
