Coluccio wins in 60 Mini against Fusco

The leader after the qualifying heats, Dennis Hauger (Tony Kart / LKE) started next to Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart / LKE) in the prefinal for 60 Mini at the WSK Champions Cup. Coluccio completed the prefinal well ahead of Giuseppe Fusco (Lenzo / LKE) while Mattia Michelotto (Top Kart / Parilla) took third place ahead of Ruben Moya Lopez (Tony Kart / LKE) and Hauger.

Fusco was off like a rocket when the lights went out for the final and immediately took the lead at the expense of Coluccio. Both drivers were already more than 2” ahead of the pack led by Leonardo Marseglia (CRG / LKE) from Moya Lopez, Hauger and Gabriele Mini (Lenzo / LKE). Coluccio pushed Fusco and passed on the 5th lap. Hauger was back in 4th in the restless chasing pack and soon took third position in front of Marseglia. The result was far from certain as the top two were racing wheel to wheel. Marseglia and Hauger continued to fight for 3rd place.

Coluccio defended perfectly from Fusco on the last lap and won by 81 thousandths. Hauger attacked Marseglia who was also passed by Michelotto, who set the fastest time of the race.
