The Dane Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart / Vortex) impressed in the first half of the timed session in KF at the first round of the WSK Champions Cup at La Conca, but the Briton Tom Bale (FA Kart / Vortex) brought the honours to the RFM team with a perfect lap of 46”393. In a tightly grouped pack, the Italian Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) set the 3rd fastest time in front of the Dane Casper Andersen Roes (FA Kart / Vortex) and the Briton Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex). Karol Basz (Kosmic / Vortex) took 6th place ahead of the young Richard Verschoor (Exprit / Vortex), Juan Correa (Energy / TM) in 8th, Alexander Vartanyan (Tony Kart / Vortex) 9th and Marcus Armstrong (Tony Kart / Vortex) 10th . Rediscovering KF after a long break, François Becamel (Kosmic / Parilla) finished 18th overall.
