The rain stopped momentarily before the start of the DD2 Masters final, but the sky darkened again. The track had time to lose much of its moisture, but there were still puddles in places. The duel between Cristiano Morgado and Martin Pierce started immediately when the lights went out. Pierce took the lead on the first lap, followed by Mikko Laine, Morgado, Tiffany Chittenden, Antti Ollikainen, Primoz Matelic and Jeremiah Charon. Christophe Adams was on track in 9th position, Guillaume Berteaux 22nd but Lambert was far behind and Charlie Hipp had already retired. Charon captured fifth position, followed by Adams. The top three were 1.2” ahead of Ollikainen. Laine is increasingly threatening to Pierce.

Berteaux entered the top 20 on lap 5, and Lambert was 27th. Pierce and Laine had a gap of 2” from Morgado. The Finn was ready to go on the attack. Laine set the fastest lap, but Pierce immediately responded. The drivers were separated by 2 to 3 tenths in mid-race, even though Laine seemed less threatening to Pierce. Morgado, at a distance, this time was unable to react. Adams closed on Charon and the 5th position, but the French is not determined to let him past. Laine renewed the attack on Pierce with 4 laps to go but in vain. Pierce controlled the race. Laine attacked on the last lap, the drivers jostled but Pierce won by 74 thousandths on the line. Adams finished the race by going fourth, Charon finished 6th, Berteaux 17th and Lambert 22nd.
