Bas Lammers’ 2014 season has ended on a positive note with his 3rd place at the 18th edition of the Las Vegas SuperNationals. Constantly in the top three in KZ2, the top category at the American event, Bas fought hard on his Formula K with a Parilla engine to retain his place over the 25 laps of the final.
“We were missing a few km / h top speed during the last race, but I’m very happy to be on the podium in the Formula K colours. De Conto and Thonon were out of range from the beginning of the meeting. In the final, the battle was intense for the top positions. I managed to get third place after a fight with Davide Fore.“
However the mission was not simple, as the Vegas competition is known for the strength of it’s confrontations on the temporary track at the hotel Casino Rio. But Bas is familiar with these conditions and his experience helped him avoid most of the pitfalls of the race. He is happy with third place to close the year, a good base to do even better in 2015.
