Final Cup: Nielsen just ahead of Basz on the clock

29 KF drivers were competing at Adria for pole position in the WSK Final Cup. Dionysus Marcu (CRG / Parilla) was the first to go under 50 seconds on the 4th lap, but soon Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Max Fewtrell (FA Kart / Vortex) were on top of the rankings. Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / Vortex) took control of the session, while Moritz Horn took 3rd. Soon it fell below 49′. Basz took control again, and Felice Tiene (CRG / Parilla) was back in the top three, but times continued to improve, especially from Basz. But Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) set the fastest time – 48”435 – on the last lap, 11 thousandths faster than Basz. Sasakorn Chaimongkol (FA Kart / Vortex) took third position by 7/100 ahead of Fewtrell and Andreas Jochimsen (ART GP / TM).
