Jorge Pescador (Praga / Parilla) retained his leading position in front of Menno Paauwe (Birel / TM) in Prefinal 1, while there was a crash at the Senna hairpin. The French clan was decimated with the retirement of Alexandre Arrue (Praga / Parilla), Pierre Bourgeois (ART GP / TM) and Nicolas Gonzales (Alpha / Maxter) and Paolo Besancenez (Alpha / Parilla) was back in 25th place, and Thomas Laurent (Tony Kart / Vortex) 20th. Paauwe took the lead ahead of Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Maxter), Pescador, Andreas Hansen (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 4th, Loris Spinelli (CRG / Maxter) 5th and Andrea Dalè (CRG / Maxter) 6th.

Paauwe took off, and Dale, in 5th, closed on Hansen with the fastest time at the halfway point. Hansen then attacked Pescador for third position, followed by Dale. It was the same scenario two laps later when Hiltbrand was passed by Hansen and Dale. Then Hansen attacked for 2nd place. Paauwe won the race by 1.2 seconds ahead of Hansen and Dale, Pescador 4th, Spinelli 5th and Hiltbrand 6th. Thomas Laurent managed to qualify with 15th position, Nicolas Gonzales failed with 23rd position, but posted the fastest lap of the race.
