World KZ: Ardigo to start from pole in the prefinal

Although first position for Marco Ardigo (Tony Kart / Vortex) was not in doubt after his two victories in the qualifying heats of the KZ World Championship at Sarno, the fight was tough behind him. The winner of the last race, Rick Dreezen (Zanardi / Parilla) took second position ahead of Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart / Vortex), Jorrit Pex (CRG / TM) who moved up to 4th and Douglas Lundberg (Intrepid / TM) in  5th place in his first competition in this category.

The French drivers Anthony Abbasse (Sodi / TM) and Jérémy Iglesias (Lenzo / LKE) are within the top 10 in 8th and 9th positions, Jonathan Thonon (Praga / Parilla) is 10th behind teammate Patrik Hajek (Praga / Parilla). Arnaud Kozlinki (Intrepid / TM) moved up from 25th to 14th place, Bas Lammers (Formula K / Parilla) only 16th after he retired in heat 1, then Ben Hanley (ART GP / TM) and Paolo De Conto (Birel / TM) in 21 and 22nd.
