The qualifying heats of the KZ2 International Super Cup were very often decided at the braking point for the hairpin at the end of the race, with numerous skirmishes. Andrea Dalè (CRG / Maxter) has taken various wins, but a retirement cost him dearly and on Saturday night he is in 17th position. The pole sitter Jorge Pescador (Praga / Parilla) managed to keep the lead from Fabian Federer (CRG / Maxter), while Menno Paauwe (Birel / TM) hoisted brilliantly in 3rd place. Lorenzo Camplese (Maranello / TM) 4th and Loris Spinelli (CRG / Maxter) 5th were among the leaders of the day. There was a comeback for Luca Tilloca (Intrepid / Modena) in 6th place ahead of Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG / Maxter). Thomas Laurent (Tony Kart / Vortex) was not doing badly in 9th position ahead of Jan Midrla (Birel / TM) and another French driver, Nicolas Gonzales (Alpha / Maxter) in 11th. Alexandre Arrue (Praga / Parilla) also had a motivated performance, but some problems pushed him back to 13th. Paolo Besancenez (Alpha / Parilla) ended up 39th, Pierre Bourgeois (ART GP / TM) 45th and Charly Bizalion (Alpha / TM) 66th.
