Open the throttle…4th edition of the Ciao Thomas Knopper memorial

Five years ago, on 9 August 2009, Thomas Knopper had a fatal accident in a kart race at Liedolsheim.

This year the TK Racing foundation, together with Kart-Club Kerpen, is organising the 4th edition of the Ciao Thomas Knopper Memorial. An event in the spirit of Thomas, where sportsmanship & excitement are the main ingredients: Karting at the highest level!

But also with shows and spectacles, as you have come to expect from a weekend in which we remember Thomas in a sporting and, especially, positive manner. In the same way he approached life: “Live your dream and enjoy every moment!”

We are happy to announce that this year we are once again working together with Kart-Club Kerpen, a combination guaranteed to provide you with an exciting and successful event – in every respect!
This year we have the following categories: KZ2, KF3, KF2, X-30 Juniors & Seniors, Rotax Max Juniors & Seniors.

Prize money in the KZ:
1st € 2500,- & the Ciao Thomas Knopper Trophy
2nd € 1500,-
3rd € 750,-
4th € 500,
5th € 250,-
Prizes/Prizemoney KZ made available by Knopper family.
The driver with the highest number of fastest rounds in the KZ2 final wins a Formula Renault test, sponsored by MP Motosport.

Exclusive party for all the drivers with a BBQ & live music.

The perfect opportunity to meet everyone at the end of the season and catch up.

Colourful drivers’ presentation/introduction

At the end of the day we will hold a prize ceremony where even the youngest drivers can feel like a F1 driver, if only for a moment. The day closes with a spectacular fireworks show.
