Siebecke takes the lead after the KZ2 heats

It was close during the qualifying heat battles of the European KZ2 Championship at Kristianstad. Two drivers have moved ahead of the field with three wins each – Maik Siebecke (CRG / Modena) and Douglas Lundberg (Alpha / Parilla). The German has taken first position by just a point ahead of the Swede, slightly delayed by a technical problem in the last race. The title race is between the leader of the standings Simas Juodvirsis (Energy / Maxter), 14th in qualifying, but he has moved up to third position, and second Andrea Dalè (CRG / Maxter) 4th Saturday evening. The polesitter Felice Tiene (CRG / Maxter) is in fifth position ahead of Marijn Kremers (Birel / TM), Fabian Federer (CRG / Maxter) in 7th and Ricardo Romkema (Energy / TM) 8th, recovered well from his 20th in qualifying.

Jan Midrla (Birel / TM) is ninth ahead of Joel Johansson (Righetti / Parilla) and Andreas Hansen (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 20th. As for the French, they will all go through the repechage with Charly Bizalion (Alpha / TM) 35th, Antoine Bottiroli (GP / TM) 43rd, Thomas Maingre (Alpha / TM) 45th and Louis Bonsaudo (Alpha / Maxter) 46th.
